Thought I'd start a thread about the Track Day opportunity at VIR that Mike brought up in his intro thread.

I need to email them to see if the factory "pop up bars" rollover protection is adequate to get on the track! At the very least, it might be worth going just for the show!

Well, it's just as well, since I don't have a spare $500 sitting around anyway. I was thinking the pop up bars might qualify under this statement, though:

Convertibles without roll bars will not be permitted to run except during the parade laps at lunch. A light bar is not considered a roll bar. Bolt-in roll bars are permitted (factory installed functional rollover protection will also be permitted).
